Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonid Zakharov (ranked 1548 p4p, 1002 weight class) and Matvey Buryckin (ranked 185 p4p, 121 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 22 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonid Zakharov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matvey Buryckin! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zakharov connects with a body shot that sends Buryckin's belly button to the back. Buryckin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zakharov but Zakharov pushes him off and we're back to square one. Buryckin dives in for a single leg takedown but Zakharov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. An attempted straight right counter from Zakharov misses the target. Zakharov leaves Buryckin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Leonid Zakharov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matvey Buryckin. Buryckin shoots in looking for a takedown but Zakharov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buryckin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Buryckin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Zakharov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
 It looks like Matvey Buryckin has been cut. Buryckin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zakharov circles away. Zakharov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Zakharov looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Zakharov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Buryckin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Zakharov counters with a low kick, right behind Buryckin 's knee. Matvey Buryckin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Buryckin looks winded! Nice takedown defense from Zakharov. No joy for Buryckin on that attempt. Buryckin blocks a head kick by Zakharov.
Buryckin shoots for a takedown but Zakharov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. An attempted straight right counter from Zakharov misses the target. A jab lands there for Zakharov.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buryckin.
Zakharov moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Buryckin goes down! Can Zakharov finish him!?
 Buryckin is rocked! Zakharov showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Buryckin is still in real trouble! Can Zakharov finish him? Buryckin seems to have recovered his senses. Zakharov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Zakharov trying to control but Buryckin is working from the bottom. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Buryckin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Buryckin ducks under a wild hook from Zakharov. Leonid Zakharov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice sprawl there from Zakharov as Buryckin shoots in. Buryckin fails with the takedown and Zakharov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Zakharov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Buryckin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Buryckin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Zakharov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Zakharov is looking to stand up but Buryckin isn't so interested in that idea.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Zakharov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Zakharov has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Buryckin has passed into side control.
Zakharov misses with a strike from the bottom. Buryckin is staying tight to Zakharov's torso, preventing him from escaping. Zakharov is not content to let Buryckin control the position. Zakharov wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Leonid Zakharov dominated that round. The cut man is working on Matvey Buryckin's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Zakharov throws a head kick that Buryckin semi-blocks.
Zakharov seems to be stalking Buryckin here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Buryckin drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Leonid Zakharov! A very excited looking Leonid Zakharov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
