Lopez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Baki misses with a takedown attempt
and Lopez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Nobita Baki has been cut.
Lopez connects with a combination that backs up Baki into the cage. Lopez lands a flurry of punches that gets past Baki's guard. Baki is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Lopez bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Diego Lopez decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
