Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aki Kangasmaki (ranked 3363 p4p, 2492 weight class) and Oliver Ewing (ranked 347 p4p, 276 weight class). Oliver Ewing is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aki Kangasmaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oliver Ewing!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ewing fakes the leg kick and cracks Kangasmaki in the body.
Sloppy strikes from Ewing. Those never looked like landing.
Ewing throws out a loose jab but Kangasmaki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kangasmaki misses with a body kick.
Kangasmaki throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ewing throws a big shot that misses.
Ewing throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kangasmaki misses with a series of wild punches.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ewing! But no joy.
Nice shot lands for Ewing.
Kangasmaki moves away from the strike by Ewing.
Kangasmaki appears to be looking for a big counter.
Kangasmaki ducks under a wild hook from Ewing.
Ewing blocks a head kick by Kangasmaki.
Ewing's corner calls for a 1-2. Ewing obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ewing scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ewing throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ewing pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kangasmaki throws a sloppy head kick and Ewing moves out of range easily.
Ewing throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kangasmaki missing with a left hand there. Ewing was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kangasmaki tests Ewing's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ewing cracks Kangasmaki with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ewing has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kangasmaki to stand back up!
Kangasmaki is rocked!
Kangasmaki drops his hands momentarily. Ewing doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Kangasmaki staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Kangasmaki doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Oliver Ewing!
