Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Silvia (ranked 2786 p4p, 848 weight class) and Jay Lawrence (ranked 288 p4p, 109 weight class). Silvia comes to the cage accompanied by I'd Love to knock the hell out of you. Jay Lawrence has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Silvia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Lawrence!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Silvia throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab from Silvia misses.
Silvia tests Lawrence's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Silvia misses with a looping right.
Lawrence throws a body punch but Silvia moves out of range.
Silvia went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Silvia misses with a looping left.
Silvia lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Silvia is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lawrence.
Lawrence lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Silvia takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Lawrence slips a jab from Silvia.
Silvia misses with a right hand
and Silvia takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shawn Silvia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silvia throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lawrence sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lawrence avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A nice side step and Lawrence releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Silvia uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lawrence.
A big left from Silvia misses.
Silvia digs a good hook to Lawrence's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lawrence scores with a jab. Silvia acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Silvia will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A cross from Silvia lands.
Lawrence lands a left and a right that send Silvia crashing to the mat, dazed. Lawrence thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Silvia is rocked!
It looks like Shawn Silvia has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Silvia misses the target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lawrence! But no joy.
Oh Silvia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silvia misses with a left hand
and Lawrence counters with a crisp right hand that drops Silvia! Lawrence lets Silvia back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silvia lands with a hook. Lawrence tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Silvia takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Silvia tries to get into range but Lawrence steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Silvia! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Lawrence scores the big KO victory!

A very excited looking Jay Lawrence made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Shawn Silvia was interviewed post fight and said 'I had COVID.'.
