The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

As Yoshida tries to get set, Kokko tries to push him back and clinch up but Yoshida manages to avoid the attempt.

and Yoshida counters with a crisp one two that drops Kokko! Yoshida thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kokko to his feet! Kokko is in big trouble!

Yoshida sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Kokko's defenses. It connects perfectly with Kokko's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Yuto Yoshida was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
