Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zander Fisher!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Martin Kelly has been cut.
Fisher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kelly swivels and escapes.
It looked like Kelly was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Kelly bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kelly wants to stand but Fisher is controlling his arm.

Kelly decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Fisher tries to clinch but Kelly moves out of range.

Kelly fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fisher to the ground. Kelly is now in Fisher's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fisher is looking for a triangle but Kelly pushes his legs off easily.
Kelly content to stall in guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelly advances to half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fisher can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kelly slips a nice elbow through Fisher's hands, connecting with Fisher's forehead.
Kelly content to control rather than advance.
Fisher tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Kelly trying to control the pace.
Fisher wants to improve his position but Kelly is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kelly slows the pace down in half guard.

Fisher is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Kelly has latched onto it... Big trouble! Kelly pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Fisher is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Kelly!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Martin Kelly!
