Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between James Duke (ranked 4339 p4p, 3799 weight class) and Ching Chang (ranked 379 p4p, 354 weight class). Chang is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hells Bells. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Duke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ching Chang! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Chad Campbell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Chang. Duke tried to counter with a leg kick but Chang avoided it. Duke has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Doom\'s Gym in the buildup to the fight. Duke swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Chang looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Duke thows a left - swing and a miss! Chang looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Duke attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Chang looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Duke throws a jab but it's blocked by Chang. James Duke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duke throws a series of strikes that have Chang backpedaling.
Duke connects with a nice looking jab.
Chang with a hook. Duke scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Chang swats away the attempt to clinch by Duke. A looping hook to the body misses from Duke. Chang does a little dance to reset his feet. Chang throws a shot to the body.
Duke throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Chang throws out a counter right but Duke avoids it with no problem. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chang misses with a two punch combination.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Duke connects with a right hand. Chang shakes it off. A looping hook to the body misses from Chang. Duke does a little dance to reset his feet. Duke throws a front kick aimed at Chang's knee but Chang avoids it well. A nice side step and Chang releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Duke looks to throw the jab but Chang is out of range. Duke with a nice cross. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Duke, as that shot connected.
Chang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Duke. It seemed like Chang was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A jab lands there for Duke. Nice cross by Duke. Duke misses the body punch and Chang counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Decent striking displayed by Duke there. Duke scores with a jab to the jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duke wants to clinch. Duke is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Duke throws a looping overhand right but Chang ducks down to avoid it. Chang has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A clash of legs there as Chang blocks the low kick. Chang lands a nice looking body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Duke misses the target. Duke pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Chang looks like he wants to counter punch here. Duke lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Duke rushes Chang and presses him up against the cage. Chang is trying to break free. Duke lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Chang throws a head punch that misses. Duke lands with a short head shot on the inside. Chang working some nice short punches in the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Duke. Chang tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Duke has a couple of punches blocked by Chang.
Chang lands a shoulder strike. Chang wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Chang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Duke connects with a body shot that sends Chang's belly button to the back. Duke tests Chang's chin there with a solid looking shot. Chang swats away the attempt to clinch by Duke. Duke tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Duke darts in trying to clinch and Duke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Duke throws a lazy uppercut
and Chang counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Duke throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Chang counters with a straight right hand. Duke misses with a hook to the body
and Chang counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Duke throws a poor cross that misses
and Chang counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Duke scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chang doesn't seem bothered though.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chang gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. The crowd cheers as Duke lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chang doesn't seem phased though. Chang takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Chang defending well as Duke loads up on a big left hand. Chang takes one to the chin there. Duke looks to clinch and Chang counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Duke lands with a nice body kick. Chang moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Chang misses with a jab, cross combination.
Duke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chang paws at him with a jab and circles away. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chang uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A combination from Duke does no damage. Duke throws a one two combo.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
James Duke dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Duke darts in trying to clinch and Chang counters with a nice uppercut. Chang missing with a left hand there. Duke was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A telegraphed right hand from Chang misses the target. Good standup being displayed there by Duke as he connects with a hook. Duke misses with a hook. Chang ducked under it nicely. Duke moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Duke clobbers Chang with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Duke tries to clinch but Chang moves out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chang! But no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duke tries to clinch there but Chang circles away.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Duke throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chang sees it coming and avoids it easily. A little jabbing left from Chang on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Duke throws a right hand that misses
and Chang counters with a lovely straight right hand! Duke doesn't manage to clinch there - Chang circles away.
Chang with a jab. Chang circles away from the clinch attempt and Chang counters with a stiff right hand. Duke throws the left hand but Chang avoids the punch easily. Chang appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Chang lands a right hook to the body.
Chang has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Chang moves out of range as Duke strikes. Duke throws an off balance right hand
letting Chang counter with a right hand. James Duke is winning the standup battle so far. Duke scores with a nice right hand.
Duke tries to close the distance and clinch but Chang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Chang slips under a jab from Duke.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Chang jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chang keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

No joy there for Duke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Duke is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chang. Chang let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Duke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chang manages to avoid it. Duke lands a head shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Chang wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Duke has him pressed against the cage. Duke misses with a punch on the inside.

Chang throws out a counter right but Duke avoids it with no problem. Chang's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Chang duly obliges. Chang tries to bum rush Duke with a series of wild strikes but Duke uses good footwork to avoid the assault. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chang bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. It seemed like Chang was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Duke tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chang swats him away and circles back towards the center. Duke lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Duke throws out a token jab with nothing on it. As Duke backs off Chang throws a huge counter combo but Duke manages to avoid it all. Nice jab there from Duke. Some wild striking there from Duke.
A telegraphed right hand from Duke misses the target. Chang blocks a jab. Duke throws a hook to the side of Chang's head but Chang sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.  That's two minutes gone in the round. Duke lands a jab. Duke tries to clinch but Chang moves out of range. Duke throws a nice outside leg kick. Duke takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ching Chang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Duke sizes up Chang with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Duke paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Duke throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

And that's the end of the fight! James Duke showed his dominance in that final round. Well Duke has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
