Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. (ranked 1136 p4p, 895 weight class) and Gabrijel Bozic (ranked 132 p4p, 107 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thibodeaux Jr. might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rags2Riches. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dakota Thibodeaux Jr.!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gabrijel Bozic!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bozic wants to clinch.
Thibodeaux Jr. punishes Bozic's body with a nice straight punch.
Thibodeaux Jr. misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bozic.
Thibodeaux Jr. throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thibodeaux Jr. lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bozic at a distance.
Bozic displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thibodeaux Jr. throws out the jab.

Thibodeaux Jr. throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Crunch! Thibodeaux Jr. slams his shin into Bozic's torso.

Thibodeaux Jr. lunges at Bozic with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bozic's hand.
Thibodeaux Jr. connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Bozic pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Thibodeaux Jr. connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Bozic takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bozic has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Thibodeaux Jr..
Thibodeaux Jr. throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bozic takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Thibodeaux Jr. lands with a cross.
Thibodeaux Jr. scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Bozic to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Thibodeaux Jr. away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Bozic got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bozic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Thibodeaux Jr. scores with a shot to the body.
Bozic on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Thibodeaux Jr.. Thibodeaux Jr. obviously looking to wear him down.
Thibodeaux Jr. scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Bozic beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.

Thibodeaux Jr. scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Thibodeaux Jr. with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Thibodeaux Jr. scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Thibodeaux Jr. connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Bozic onto his butt! Bozic bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
You can see that Bozic has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks

Bozic walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Thibodeaux Jr. and drops face first to the floor! Bozic's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Bozic in no position to continue!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Dakota Thibodeaux Jr.!
Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
