And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nakachi Tadageru!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tadageru tries to clinch up.
Tadageru has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Silalahi.
Greggory Silalahi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Silalahi misses.
Silalahi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Silalahi throws a front kick aimed at Tadageru's knee but Tadageru avoids it well.

Tadageru closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Silalahi to the mat! Silalahi manages to get full guard.
Silalahi pushes Tadageru off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Silalahi throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tadageru.

Silalahi throws a jab when Tadageru was well out of range.
Tadageru is looking to clinch but Silalahi is avoiding it.
Tadageru seems to have recovered his senses.
Silalahi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tadageru tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Silalahi, as that shot connected.
Tadageru darts in looking for a takedown but Silalahi gets double underhooks and turns Tadageru into the cage.
Silalahi lands with a shot to the body.
Silalahi misses with a kick to the body.
Tadageru gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Silalahi.
Silalahi cracks Tadageru with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Silalahi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tadageru tries to clinch but Silalahi is having none of it.
Silalahi throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tadageru checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Silalahi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Silalahi wants it to stay on the feet.
Silalahi feinted with a counter takedown.
Silalahi digs a good body shot into Tadageru's ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silalahi takes a swing at Tadageru's ribcage but misses.
Tadageru dives in and grabs Silalahi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silalahi pushes down on Tadageru's head and hops out.
Silalahi swats away the attempt to clinch by Tadageru.
A nice inside leg kick there by Silalahi. That's going to slow Tadageru down.
Tadageru ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And Tadageru tries to counter it with a takedown but Silalahi pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Tadageru displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Silalahi throws out the jab.
The crowd cheers as Silalahi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tadageru doesn't seem phased though.
Silalahi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Silalahi looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Silalahi lands a brutal head kick. Tadageru looks out on his feet and Silalahi throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
