Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dover (ranked 3131 p4p, 3421 weight class) and Hawk Williamson (ranked 323 p4p, 346 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Dover! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hawk Williamson! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williamson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Williamson walks into a left hand. Williamson scores with a jab. Dover steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Williamson. Dover is looking to counter punch. Dover jabbing away but nothing is landing. Williamson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Ben Dover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Williamson checks a leg kick. A shot to the liver by Williamson. Beautiful body shot. Williamson ducks under a wild hook from Dover. Dover misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dover throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williamson. Williamson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Williamson blocks a jab. Dover throws a leg kick and Dover takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dover steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Williamson. Williamson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been told by Dover's head coaches at Place of the Way that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Williamson lands a lovely overhand right. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williamson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dover connects with a good right hand that stumbles Williamson. Williamson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Dover throws a predictable looking body shot
and Williamson counters with a straight right hand.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Williamson as he connects with a hook. Dover ducks under a wild hook from Williamson. Dover throwing a counter right hand but Williamson manages to avoid it. Dover tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Williamson was well out of range. Poor timing from Dover. Dover throws out a leg kick but Williamson moves out of range and Dover only half commits. Williamson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dover. Williamson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Williamson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Dover throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Williamson to counter with a crisp jab. Williamson keeps the fight on the outside. Dover throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Williamson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Hawk Williamson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dover throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williamson. Williamson slips a jab from Dover. Williamson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Nice shot by Dover. Dover bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Williamson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williamson loads up on a big right hand but Dover slips the punch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dover misses with a body shot.
Williamson throws a body shot but no joy. Dover closes the distance but Williamson moves to the side and Williamson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dover pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dover attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Williamson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Dover misses with a two punch combination.
Dover throws a lazy uppercut
and Williamson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Williamson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Dover had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. A low kick from Dover misses and Williamson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Williamson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dover stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Williamson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Williamson ducks under a wild hook from Dover. Williamson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Dover swings widly with a right hand
and Williamson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Dover has his takedown stuffed enabling Williamson to counter with a crisp jab.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dover tries to clinch up but Williamson circles away and keeps his distance. Williamson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dover. Williamson slips under a jab from Dover. Dover defending well as Williamson loads up on a big left hand. Dover moves away from the strike by Williamson. Dover shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williamson but Williamson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dover falls off balance throwing a combination
and Williamson counters with a straight right hand.
 Dover is rocked! Williamson lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Dover - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Williamson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hawk Williamson! A relieved looking Hawk Williamson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
