Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amari Howell (ranked 282 p4p, 523 weight class) and Sebastion Lynar (ranked 34 p4p, 54 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Amari Howell! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 37 - 27 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastion Lynar! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lynar sprawls well initially but Howell persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Howell missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Howell thows a huge punch but Lynar dodges it nicely.
Lynar is looking to improve his position.
Howell slips a nice elbow through Lynar's hands, connecting with Lynar's forehead.
Lynar actively working from the bottom here. Howell is trying to control. Lynar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Howell throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Howell is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lynar sees it coming and defends easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Howell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Lynar escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Howell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Howell postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The referee takes a look at Lynar to see if he's OK. Lynar parries the strikes from Howell easily there. Howell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lynar to escape.
Howell is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lynar has escaped the position, nice work there. Howell working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Howell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lynar tries to buck Howell off but Howell is having none of it. Lynar can't do much from the bottom here.
Howell goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lynar has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Howell but great work by Lynar. Howell is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lynar off and has taken his back! Howell misses with punches from the back. Howell punches the canvas rather than the man. Lynar is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Howell off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Howell is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Lynar up.

Howell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lynar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Howell has managed to get both his arms back between Lynar's legs - danger averted. Howell works over Lynar with some ground and pound from guard. Howell is pushing down on Lynar's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lynar is fighting to maintain full guard but Howell has managed to sneak the leg through. Howell is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lynar can do to turn this around? Howell working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Lynar avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Howell.

Lynar regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Howell. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
