Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 52 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Hall! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jin Devil! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall gets a takedown into half guard. Devil felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Devil wants to improve his position but Hall is controlling well.
Devil is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hall pulls his head out easily. Devil wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Devil is defending against the submission attempts here by Hall.
Hall is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Devil to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hall looking to pass the guard. Hall controls from within his opponent's guard. Devil wants to control but Hall passes easily into half guard.
Hall is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hall is working for a submission of some sort.
Devil is looking for a sweep. Hall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Devil makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Devil.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall pushing down on Devil's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Devil slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Devil keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully. Hall tries to free his leg and advance position but Devil is retaining full guard.  The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Devil throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hall tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Devil is in Hall's guard. Hall is trying to control the position but Devil postures up. Devil controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hall has his feet on Devil's thighs here. He's pushed Devil off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Devil screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
