The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall gets a takedown into half guard.
Devil felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Devil wants to improve his position but Hall is controlling well.
Devil is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hall pulls his head out easily.
Devil wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Devil is defending against the submission attempts here by Hall.
Hall is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Devil to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Devil is looking for a sweep. Hall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Devil throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hall tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Devil is in Hall's guard.
Hall is trying to control the position but Devil postures up.

Hall has his feet on Devil's thighs here. He's pushed Devil off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Devil screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
