Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Porridge Wog (ranked 1275 p4p, 1317 weight class) and Will Scherma (ranked 164 p4p, 167 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Will Scherma was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Will Scherma!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wog fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Scherma throws a leg kick but Wog sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Scherma fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Will Scherma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wog checks the leg kick.
Scherma bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Scherma throws a hook to the side of Wog's head but Wog sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Scherma throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wog jabs at Scherma's body.
Scherma lands a leg kick that knocks Wog off balance momentarily.
Wog wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scherma thuds his shin into the meat of Wog's side.

Scherma replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Wog blocks it well.

Scherma tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wog swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Wog throws an overhand right that lands on Scherma's shoulder, as Scherma tries to avoid the shot.
Wog tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Scherma stuffs the takedown attempt from Wog. Wog gets slowly back to his feet.
Scherma drives through and clinches with Wog against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Scherma tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wog's elbow.
Wog tightens his grip and picks Scherma up, before dumping him to the ground. Scherma manages to land in guard.

Wog with a flurry of punches that miss.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Scherma is adopting a defensive guard.
Wog stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scherma swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Scherma has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Wog has passed into side control.
Scherma is trying to improve his position.
Wog in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Scherma is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
