Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Joe Wick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 2, fighting out of London, Riel Proh!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Proh slips under a jab.
Wick gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Proh.
Proh scores with a body shot.
Wick swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Proh fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wick walks into a straight right hand from Proh.
Wick gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Proh throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Proh swats him away and circles back towards the center.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Proh postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Proh throws a strike aimed at the side of Wick's head but Wick avoids it well.

Wick is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Proh asserts his dominance and retains side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wick manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Proh has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wick uses from the top position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Proh keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Proh controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Proh has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

I would just about give that final round to Riel Proh.
I've got Proh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Riel Proh decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
