Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monni Mantzurin (ranked 2100 p4p, 1064 weight class) and Leonid Zakharov (ranked 225 p4p, 131 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Leonid Zakharov enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Monni Mantzurin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leonid Zakharov!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakharov lands a glancing blow to the side of Mantzurin's head.
It looks like Monni Mantzurin has been cut.

Mantzurin wants to clinch.

Mantzurin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zakharov keeps working.
Mantzurin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Zakharov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mantzurin but great work by Zakharov.
Zakharov decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Zakharov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mantzurin misses with a takedown
and Zakharov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Mantzurin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Mantzurin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Zakharov cracks Mantzurin with an uppercut from hell and Mantzurin crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Zakharov's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Mantzurin manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Zakharov on his heels. He'll look to pass Zakharov's guard now, I'm sure.

Leonid Zakharov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
The defeated Monni Mantzurin had this to say: 'blaaaahhhh.....'.
