Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Grant Hyde (ranked 84 p4p, 159 weight class) and Danny Braxton (ranked 13 p4p, 22 weight class). Hyde comes to the cage accompanied by Darkside-Neoni. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grant Hyde!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Braxton!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braxton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Braxton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Braxton lands a big head kick that sends Hyde tumbling to the mat! Braxton takes a step backwards and waves Hyde back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Hyde is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hyde throws a low kick but Braxton moves out of range easily.
Hyde lands a really nice looking cross but Braxton seems unphased.

Braxton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hyde misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Braxton counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Hyde off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Braxton follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Hyde was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Danny Braxton!

An out of breath Danny Braxton thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
