Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Watson (ranked 2348 p4p, 1923 weight class) and Jugabu Batdorani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jugabu Batdorani has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with King Watson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jugabu Batdorani!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Batdorani drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Watson wants to improve his position but Batdorani is controlling well.
Batdorani lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Batdorani seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Watson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Batdorani is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Watson is looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Batdorani is taking a breather. Watson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

It looks like Batdorani might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Batdorani is looking for a kimura but Watson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Batdorani to get the leverage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Watson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Batdorani sprawls well. Batdorani wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Watson gets slowly back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Batdorani.

Watson is looking for a sweep. Batdorani is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Batdorani tries to pass to full mount but Watson defends it.
Batdorani content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Batdorani postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Watson to stand up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Batdorani looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Batdorani drops back, looking for a kneebar! Watson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Watson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Watson!

Batdorani can't do much from the bottom here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Batdorani is looking to reverse the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Watson lands a jab to the head.

Batdorani tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Watson swivels and escapes.
Watson throws a big counter combination but Batdorani scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Batdorani is defended easily by Watson.
It looked like Watson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Batdorani.

Batdorani shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Watson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Watson is looking to stand back up but Batdorani counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Watson.

Batdorani is nestled in close to Watson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Watson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Batdorani is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Batdorani wants to control but Watson is keeping him busy.

Batdorani's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Watson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Batdorani checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Batdorani throws a counter combo.
Watson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Batdorani.
Watson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Batdorani looking to score a takedown here. Watson is defending well but Batdorani drives through and ends up in Watson's guard.
Watson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Batdorani manages to pass to side control.

We've been informed that Batdorani has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Batdorani stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Watson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Watson wants it to stay on the feet.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Let's hope that Batdorani has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

King Watson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jugabu Batdorani is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Batdorani shoots for a double leg takedown but Watson sprawls well. He's pushed Batdorani's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

I would just about give that final round to Jugabu Batdorani.
I've got Batdorani winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
