Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil DeBlunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drago comes to the ring accompanied by SuperBeast. DeBlunt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Westside Connection - Bow Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeBlunt avoids a punch combination nicely.
DeBlunt missing with a left hand there. Drago was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Drago tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but DeBlunt paws at him with a jab and circles away.
DeBlunt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Ivan Drago has been cut.
Drago displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as DeBlunt throws out the jab.

DeBlunt cracks Drago with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Drago looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can DeBlunt finish him?

DeBlunt fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Drago to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Drago looks to clinch but DeBlunt throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Drago taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
