Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Calavar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace has chosen Who shot Ya? as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Calavar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace throws a jab when Calavar was well out of range.
Wallace punishes Calavar's body with a nice straight punch.
Calavar throws a nice looking combination but Wallace bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Calavar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wallace.
Calavar missing with a left hand there. Wallace was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Calavar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wallace.
Wallace ducks under a wild hook from Calavar.
Calavar lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Calavar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wallace uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Calavar has time to react.


It looks like Johnny Calavar has been cut.
Wallace walks into a straight right hand from Calavar.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wallace gets a takedown into half guard.
Wallace passes to side control.
Wallace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Calavar keeps working.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wallace has hold of Calavar's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Calavar seems comfortable defending it but Wallace has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Calavar is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Calavar is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Wallace couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Chris Wallace!
