Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Assis Civita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cloud Strife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Civita finds it's way through Strife's defenses.
Civita is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Strife.

Strife shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Strife was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Civita is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Strife prevents Civita from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Assis Civita has been cut.
Civita can't escape the position.

Strife jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Civita is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Civita and Strife has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Civita lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Strife shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Strife stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Civita swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Strife has gone for a leg lock! Civita slips out almost immediately though and dives into Strife's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
