Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Percy Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buster Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks comes into a darkened arena with his song building. NWA Chin Check kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buster Banks will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Percy Prime! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buster Banks! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Banks duly obliges. Prime tries a low kick but Banks avoids it. Banks takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Banks connects with a high kick. Prime takes a shot right to the bread basket. Prime looks to land a body kick but Banks moved away. Some bone on bone action there as Banks checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Prime tries to close the distance and clinch up but Banks swats him away and circles back towards the center. Prime closes the distance and pushes Banks back into the cage. Banks tries to break free but Prime pushes him back against the cage. Prime gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Prime blocking some punches.

Prime keeps control of Banks as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Prime throws an elbow that misses.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Banks is trying to force a seperation but Prime has the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prime stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Nice elbow from Prime. Prime misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Banks.
Banks turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Banks manages to end up in side control. Prime tries to bench press Banks off him but Banks keeps the position. Banks has control of an arm but Prime manages to advance to Banks's back! Prime controls the action. Prime has the hooks in. Banks is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Banks is keeping busy.
Banks wants to control his opponent's hands but Prime gets his hands free. Banks is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Banks is trying to stand back up. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prime looking to hold on to the position here but Banks rolls and ends up regaining guard.
Banks wants to stand but Prime is controlling the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Prime is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Banks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Prime is looking to chop away at Banks's legs. Prime misses with a low kick as Banks jumps back. Percy Prime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Prime feints and then cracks Banks's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Banks down. A big left from Prime misses. Prime on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Banks stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Prime. Prime throws out a leg kick but Banks moves out of range and Prime only half commits. Prime throws a sloppy body shot
and Banks counters with a lovely shot to the body. Prime throws a leg kick that misses. Prime missing with a left hand there. Banks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Banks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Prime moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A chopping leg kick lands by Prime. A shot to the body from Banks misses and Prime counters with a nice uppercut. Prime staying out of range there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Buster Banks dominated that round. That's time! Prime's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Banks throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Prime ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Banks moves away. A good leg kick by Prime. Banks tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Prime scores with a jab to the jaw. A low kick from Banks is predictable there and Prime counters with a nice leg kick. Banks walks into a left hand. Prime tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Banks counters with a left and a right that stings Prime. Banks gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Banks misses with an uppercut. Prime saw that one coming. Prime misses with a wild body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prime rushes Banks and presses him up against the cage. Prime blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Prime crunches a lovely knee into Banks's ribcage. Banks goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Banks is trying to break the clinch but Prime is controlling him. Banks is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Prime lands an elbow inside. Prime keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Banks's efforts to push away. Knees in the clinch landing for Prime.
Banks is breathing heavily. Banks tries to score a body lock takedown but Prime shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Prime lands an elbow inside that Banks shrugs off. Banks takes a knee to the side of the body. Banks wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Prime has him pressed against the cage. Prime throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prime lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Banks looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Prime lands a nice elbow. Prime creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Banks's defenses. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Knees in the clinch landing for Prime.

Banks is rocked! Banks's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Banks is still on wobbly legs! Can Prime finish him? Banks takes an elbow to the forehead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prime lands an elbow just above Banks 's eye. Prime dips a shoulder and cracks Banks with a mighty uppercut! Banks falls back against the cage and Prime unloads with a barrage of strikes! Banks is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Prime screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Percy Prime! Percy Prime retains his lightweight title!
