Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maximillion Dirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michaelangelo Van Der Poel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dirk comes into the arena with Mack the Knife blaring out of the sound system. Van Der Poel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Potemkin City limits kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Der Poel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Van Der Poel misses with a body shot.
Van Der Poel throws a hook but Dirk blocks it.
Van Der Poel walks into a jab.
Van Der Poel moves away from the strike by Dirk.
Dirk works over Van Der Poel's head and body with a nice combination.
Van Der Poel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dirk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice defenses there by Dirk.
Van Der Poel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dirk counters with a nice uppercut.
Dirk throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Van Der Poel on the side of the head.
Van Der Poel throws a combination that misses
and Dirk makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Dirk pushes Van Der Poel up against the cage in a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dirk lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Dirk lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Dirk scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Dirk prevents a takedown attempt there.
Van Der Poel looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Van Der Poel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dirk smiles and moves away.
Dirk lands a left and a right that send Van Der Poel crashing to the mat, dazed. Dirk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Van Der Poel is rocked!
Dirk walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Van Der Poel drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Dirk swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Van Der Poel's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maximillion Dirk!
