Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quentin King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vahe Ambarchyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ambarchyan has chosen Hollywood Undead - Undead as his entrance music. Quentin King could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vahe Ambarchyan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quentin King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vahe Ambarchyan! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ambarchyan pinned against the cage. Ambarchyan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. King fails with the takedown. Ambarchyan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ambarchyan looks to land a combination but King avoids it well. King gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ambarchyan to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ambarchyan postures up.
King utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. King throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
King has a closed guard, preventing Ambarchyan from standing up. Ambarchyan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ambarchyan throwing strikes but missing. King has his hands on Ambarchyan's head, controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. King is trying to keep Ambarchyan in close.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. King shoots in looking for a takedown. Ambarchyan tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ambarchyan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quentin King. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ambarchyan fails with the takedown and King counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by King. Ambarchyan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. King is standing up over Ambarchyan. Ambarchyan looks to escape but King dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. King wants to control but Ambarchyan is keeping him busy. Ambarchyan is looking for a sweep. King has hold of Ambarchyan's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ambarchyan tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - King cranks the arm and Ambarchyan screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ambarchyan, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Quentin King!
