These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babbage shoots in for a takedown but Blerim shows good takedown defense.
No joy there for Blerim, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Arbnor Blerim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Babbage cracks Blerim with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Babbage keeps Blerim at a distance using the push kick.
Babbage throws the left hand but Blerim avoids the punch easily.

Babbage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Babbage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blerim moves away.

and Babbage makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Babbage throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Blerim was covering up waiting for the punch and Babbage finishes the takedown easily into guard.
