Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raphael Almeida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Amaury Grizz!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grizz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Almeida tries to avoid it but Grizz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Almeida to the ground. Almeida escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Grizz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Almeida.
Grizz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Almeida circles away.
Almeida works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Grizz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Almeida paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Almeida throws a one two combo.
It looks like Amaury Grizz has been cut.
Grizz looks to land a combination but Almeida avoids it well.
Almeida dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Grizz looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Grizz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Almeida counters with a nice uppercut.
Grizz is rocked!
Almeida closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Grizz out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
