Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dre Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Battle comes to the cage accompanied by VICTORY REMIX. The crowd seem to be enjoying Lee's choice of entrance music: Kick out the Jams by The MC5s. Dre Battle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dre Battle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rufus Lee! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circle momentarily. Battle darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Rufus Lee has been cut. Lee blocks a jab. A jab from Battle misses. Lee cracks Battle with an open hand slap. Battle takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Battle changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Dre Battle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Battle. Battle misses with an uppercut. Lee saw that one coming. Lee misses with a straight left. Lee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lee misses with the combination.
Battle misses with a hook. Lee ducked under it nicely. Lee cracks Battle with a right hand to the side of the head. Battle loads up on a big right hand but Lee slips the punch. Lee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Lee misses. Lee throws a nice looking combination but Battle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Lee avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Battle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lee throws a looping overhand right but Battle ducks down to avoid it. Lee ducks under a wild hook from Battle. Battle lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lee at a distance.

Battle scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lee in his tracks. Battle moves out of range as Lee strikes. Battle pushing out the jab but it's not landing. No joy there for Battle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee misses with a looping right. Battle misses with a hook. Lee ducked under it nicely. Battle throws a right and a left that Lee avoids nicely. Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Battle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee. Lee takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nice straight punches there by Lee. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lee. Battle defending well as Lee loads up on a big left hand. Lee getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Lee scores with a jab to the body. Battle lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Battle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Some wild striking there from Lee.

Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A telegraphed right hand from Lee misses the target. Lee throws a shot from downtown. Battle moves away and avoids it. Battle scores with a body shot.
Battle misses the jab. Lee staying out of range there. Battle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Battle. Battle lands a nice shot to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Battle lands with a right hand. Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Battle lands a jab to Lee's midsection. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd cheers as Battle lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lee doesn't seem phased though. Lee throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Lee might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. The fighters circle momentarily. Lee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. and Battle counters with a left and a right that stings Lee.
Lee is rocked! Battle throws a lazy right hand but Lee sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lee is still on wobbly legs! Can Battle finish him? Battle shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Lee takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Battle sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Lee bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
