Pollard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Meridius buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Maximus Meridius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Meridius lands with a shot to the body.
Pollard looks gassed!

Meridius scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pollard doesn't seem bothered though.
Meridius thows a body kick. Pollard tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Donk. Meridius catches Pollard right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Craig Pollard has been cut.
Meridius throws a nice outside leg kick.
Meridius connects with a right hand. Pollard shakes it off.
Meridius drops Pollard with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pollard looks back up at him and smiles so Meridius waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Meridius fakes the body blow, causing Pollard to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Pollard goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
