Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Konor!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kahn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Kahn moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Konor has worked his arm free - good work by Konor!

Kahn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Konor wants to control but Kahn postures up.
Konor tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Kahn presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Kahn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kahn is working for a rear naked choke. Konor is not defending it well and Kahn has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Konor refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Konor's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
