Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between H Y Kwon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nemean Athos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kwon comes to the cage accompanied by Atmosphere - Trying To Find A Balance. The crowd seem to be enjoying Athos's choice of entrance music: Thundercats. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Athos blocks a jab.
Athos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kwon moves away.
Kwon throws a looping overhand right but Athos ducks down to avoid it.
Kwon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Kwon misses with a jab to the body
and Athos counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Athos is looking to score with low kicks.
Kwon throws an overhand right that lands on Athos's shoulder, as Athos tries to avoid the shot.
Athos moves out of range as Kwon strikes.
Athos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

H Y Kwon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Nemean Athos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Athos counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Athos lands with a right hand.

Athos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kwon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Athos smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Athos closes the distance and lands a one-two.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Athos scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kwon doesn't seem bothered though.

and Athos counters with a slapping leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Athos tried to score with a low kick but Kwon checks it.

Kwon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Athos.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nemean Athos dominated that round.
That's time! Kwon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Athos wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
No joy there for Athos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kwon throws a sloppy body shot
and Athos counters with a straight right hand.

Athos tries to clinch but Kwon is having none of it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Athos.
Athos misses the shot to the body.
Kwon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Athos sizes up Kwon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like H Y Kwon has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nemean Athos seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Athos lands a jab-cross combination.

Athos is looking to slow Kwon down with leg kicks.
Kwon seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Athos shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Kwon is backing up but Athos catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Kwon covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Athos Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nemean Athos!
