The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Higgins scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Smith trying to control from the bottom.

John Higgins dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Higgins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smith pinned against the cage. Smith gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Higgins tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Higgins feints and as Smith raises his hands in defense, Higgins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Good agility. Smith thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Higgins pulls Smith in close to prevent any damage. Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Higgins swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kenny Smith has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Higgins pulls Smith in close to his closed guard and prevents Smith from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that's the end of the fight! John Higgins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Higgins winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
