The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kronic gets caught flat footed, as O Leary shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
O Leary looking to pass the guard.
Kronic can't keep his opponent in guard - O Leary advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
O Leary stops Kronic from getting back to his feet.
O Leary is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kronic sees it coming and defends easily.
O Leary is looking for a kimura but Kronic is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for O Leary to get the leverage.
Kronic won't allow O Leary to pass to mount.

Kronic looks like he's trying to stand up.
O Leary is pressing down on Kronic's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kronic is holding on for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
O Leary fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kronic throws a hook to the side of O Leary's head but O Leary sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kronic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kronic wants it to stay on the feet.

O Leary is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kronic is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

O Leary wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kronic, who protects the arm well.

O Leary is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kronic has escaped the position, nice work there.
O Leary swings around for an armbar but Kronic sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into O Leary's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kronic has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of O Leary is proving hard to escape from.
O Leary had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kronic defends it easily.
Kronic wants to get up but he can't break O Leary's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
O Leary working for submissions but it's allowed Kronic to get to half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
O Leary moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kronic stands up from O Leary's guard - Kronic perhaps looking for a knockout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kronic. O Leary does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nate Kronic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kronic tries to clinch up but O Leary circles away and keeps his distance.
O Leary will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kronic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by O Leary.
O Leary shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kronic as he avoids it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kronic throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kronic throws a hook but O Leary blocks it.
Kronic throws a head kick but O Leary moves out of range.
Kronic misses with a head kick.
Kronic throws a nice looking combination but O Leary bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
O Leary fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kronic sprawls well initially but O Leary persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kronic is in trouble now - O Leary has advanced to mount!
O Leary is working for a guillotine from mount but Kronic frees his head quite easily.
O Leary punching from mount but Kronic doing a good job of avoiding damage.

O Leary throws some wild stikes that Kronic manages to avoid easily.
O Leary sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

O Leary throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kronic has his hands clasped together but O Leary breaks the hold and Kronic is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by O Leary!
