Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magne Midgard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Midgard comes to the ring accompanied by Crazy Train. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Midgard blocks a head kick by Silva.
Silva tries to clinch but Midgard is having none of it.
Silva lands with a nice body kick.
Midgard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Midgard.
Midgard thows a body shot but no joy.
A good leg kick by Silva.
Silva throws a half hearted mid kick.
Silva wants to land a leg kick but Midgard is out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A slapping body kick lands there for Silva.
Midgard is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva scores with a head kick.

It looks like Magne Midgard has been cut.
Midgard misses with a body shot.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Silva clinches.

Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Silva keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Midgard.
Silva attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Silva pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Silva is looking to chop away at Midgard's legs.
Silva throws a head kick that misses.
A head kick misses from Silva.
Midgard avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Midgard walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Silva checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kenji Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slapping body kick lands there for Silva.

Silva moves into the clinch.
Midgard using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Silva has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Silva scores a nice knee to the body.

Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Silva lands a big head kick that sends Midgard tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves Midgard back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Midgard is rocked!

Magne Midgard's cut is getting worse.
A head kick by Silva - that's a beauty! Midgard is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Silva can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
