Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darius Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace's entrance music is Victory. A fine choice. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darius Johnson! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson is looking to score with low kicks. Johnson looks to land a combination but Wallace avoids it well. Johnson just misses with a punch to the body.
Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wallace is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Johnson lunges at Wallace with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wallace's hand. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Johnson. Wallace shrugs it off though. Johnson closes the distance and lands a one-two. Wallace shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Johnson throws a leg kick which misses Wallace's front leg but catches the back leg as Wallace tries to avoid it. Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wallace moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wallace walks into a jab. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Johnson.

Wallace is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson scores with a leg kick.

Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Johnson thumps Wallace with a low kick. Wallace takes one to the side of the head.
Wallace shoots in but no luck this time. Chris Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Chris Wallace has been cut. Wallace stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Johnson. Johnson lands with a nice combination. Wallace backs away looking to recover. A good leg kick by Johnson. Johnson lands a right hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Johnson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Johnson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wallace's calf.

and Johnson counters with a three punch combo that has Wallace backing up. Wallace nods at Johnson to acknowledge the strikes. Johnson connects with a body shot. Johnson connects with a right hand. Wallace shakes it off.
Wallace is rocked! Wallace on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Johnson. Johnson obviously looking to wear him down.
Johnson lands a front kick. Wallace is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Wallace showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wallace walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Johnson throws a combination. Wallace tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Oh Wallace is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Johnson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wallace counters by clinching up. Wallace seems to have got his legs back now. Johnson tries to circle away but Wallace has him pinned against the cage. Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Wallace or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson drops Wallace with a beautiful combination! Wallace stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Johnson is looking for the KO! Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Johnson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wallace's sensitive parts. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Wallace. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. A nice combination there by Johnson.

Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Johnson throws a combination. Wallace tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Wallace chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Johnson can pounce on him.
Johnson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Johnson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johnson throws a series of strikes that have Wallace backpedaling.

Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wallace's face. Wallace staggers backwards, shaken. Johnson throws a nice inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darius Johnson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chris Wallace's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Johnson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. No luck for Wallace with that takedown attempt. Johnson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Johnson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wallace's head backwards. Wallace throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wallace off to one side. Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Darius Johnson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Johnson cracks Wallace with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Johnson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wallace's sensitive parts. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Johnson lands a nice looking body shot.

Wallace sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Johnson is working the combinations to good effect here. Wallace is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Johnson. Wallace takes one to the chin there. Johnson scores with a one two! Wallace had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Johnson thumps Wallace with a low kick. Johnson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Johnson rushes Wallace with punches - Wallace moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Wallace goes down! Johnson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
