Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Richard Pleaser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcello Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard Pleaser!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcello Sosa!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pleaser works over Sosa's head and body with a nice combination.
Pleaser moves away from the strike by Sosa.
Sosa misses with an uppercut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pleaser.
Pleaser walks into a jab.
Sosa takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Pleaser lands a nice shot that snaps Sosa's head back.
Pleaser shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sosa as he jumps to the side.
Pleaser displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sosa throws out the jab.
Sosa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Pleaser shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Pleaser. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sosa thows a body shot but no joy.
Pleaser changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sosa tries to avoid it but Pleaser manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sosa to the ground. Sosa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sosa throws a series of punches but Pleaser avoids them all with ease.
Sosa scores with a nice head shot.
Pleaser looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sosa is fending him off so far but Pleaser persists. Nope, Sosa circles away and we're back to standing.
Pleaser shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sosa sprawls well. Sosa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pleaser gets slowly back to his feet.
Jab, jab by Sosa - just one landing.
Sosa connects with a single shot there.
Pleaser is rocked!
Sosa throws an uppercut from hell that sends Pleaser clean off his feet! He's out cold! Sosa stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
