The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Diaz misses the target.
Diaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lu.
Diaz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Diaz is looking to clinch but Lu is avoiding it.
Lu scores with a body shot.
Diaz misses with a looping right.
Diaz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lu.
Lu throws the kick towards the body but Diaz avoids it.
Diaz throws a hook to the side of Lu's head but Lu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Diaz misses with an uppercut. Lu saw that one coming.
A punch combination from Diaz misses.
Oscar Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz slips a jab from Lu.

Diaz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Diaz missing with a left hand there. Lu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A big right from Diaz misses.
Diaz shoots in for a double leg but Lu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Diaz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lu slips a straight right by Diaz.
A looping hook to the body misses from Diaz. Lu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Diaz digs a good body shot into Lu's ribs.
Diaz pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Diaz cracks Lu with an open hand slap.

Diaz missing with a left hand there. Lu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lu takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Diaz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Diaz misses with a wild combination.
Diaz shoots for a double leg takedown but Lu sprawls well. He's pushed Diaz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Diaz throws a good cross that connects.
Diaz looks to score with a jab to the body but Lu is just out of range.
Diaz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Diaz is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diaz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lu paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Diaz swings away with a body shot that misses
and Lu counters with a big right hand! Oh Diaz is in trouble here! Lu follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
