With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kennedy Embers!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monsoon throws a head kick that misses.

Monsoon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jeff jr Monsoon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff jr Monsoon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A decent looking cross lands there for Embers.


It looks like Jeff jr Monsoon has been cut.
Embers scores with a jab to the body.
Monsoon closes the distance and clinches up with Embers, looking for a takedown. Monsoon pushes Embers against the cage but Embers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Monsoon shoots in and drives through. Embers sprawls well.
Monsoon shoots for a double leg takedown but Embers sprawls well. He's pushed Monsoon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Monsoon dives in and grabs Embers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Embers pushes down on Monsoon's head and hops out.
Monsoon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Embers but Embers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Embers scores with a hook.

Monsoon has a takedown stuffed.
Embers tests Monsoon's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Embers scores with a nice head shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Monsoon.

Monsoon is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheers as Embers lands an impressive looking overhand right. Monsoon doesn't seem phased though.


Jeff jr Monsoon's cut is getting worse.

Embers cracks Monsoon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Embers stuffs the takedown attempt from Monsoon. Monsoon gets slowly back to his feet.
Embers sizes up Monsoon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Embers scores with a jab. Monsoon acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Embers's corner calls for a 1-2. Embers obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Monsoon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Embers sprawls well. Embers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Monsoon gets slowly back to his feet.
Monsoon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Embers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Monsoon somewhat.
Nice takedown defense from Embers. No joy for Monsoon on that attempt.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Monsoon. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Embers connects with a crisp jab.


Jeff jr Monsoon's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Embers stuffs the takedown.
Embers cracks a nice hook into Monsoon's ribs.
Embers digs a good body shot into Monsoon's ribs.
Embers jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Embers scores with a jab. Monsoon acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Embers is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Monsoon had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Embers lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


Jeez, Jeff jr Monsoon's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Monsoon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Embers defends it nicely.
Embers with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Embers connects with a single shot there.
Monsoon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Embers swivels and escapes.
Embers lands with a right hand.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jeff jr Monsoon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kennedy Embers!
