The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benitez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Galvao avoids the head kick by Benitez.
Benitez scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
A punch combination from Galvao misses.
Galvao shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Benitez as he avoids it easily.
No luck for Galvao with that takedown attempt.
Galvao misses with a double jab.
Some wild striking there from Benitez.

Benitez stuffs the takedown attempt from Galvao. Galvao gets slowly back to his feet.
