Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Danes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler comes to the cage accompanied by Stronger- Kanye West. Luke Danes has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler tries to clinch but Danes is having none of it.
Danes dives in and grabs Tyler's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tyler pushes down on Danes's head and hops out.
Tyler looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Danes is fending him off so far but Tyler persists. Nope, Danes circles away and we're back to standing.
Tyler defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Danes.
Tyler clinches.
Tyler throws an elbow that misses.
Danes lands an elbow just above Tyler 's eye.
It looks like Jake Tyler has been cut.
Danes wants a takedown but no success here.
Jake Tyler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Danes.
Danes has Tyler pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tyler manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Tyler throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Tyler wants to control but Danes is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Danes wants to improve his position but Tyler is controlling well.

Danes tries to get to full guard but Tyler has control of the leg.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Tyler shoots in for a takedown but Danes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tyler tries to clinch but Danes moves out of range.

Horrible takedown by Danes or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyler which made him look bad.

Danes shoots in but Tyler avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tyler slaps away a takedown attempt from Danes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tyler throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Danes looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tyler is fending him off so far but Danes persists. Nope, Tyler circles away and we're back to standing.
Tyler shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tyler showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Tyler is trying to control the action in half guard but Danes is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Tyler is pressing down on Danes's thigh, looking to free his foot. Danes is holding on for now.

Danes is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tyler can't fight it off and eventually Danes manages to take the fight to the floor. Tyler looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Tyler tries to lock up and control but Danes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Despite being in the dominant position, Luke Danes just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tyler closes the distance and clinches.
Tyler prevents the takedown attempt.

Danes has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tyler avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Danes is working for takedown but Tyler is calmly controlling the position for now.

Danes drops back looking for a leg! Tyler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tyler manages to kick Danes off! Danes jumps back into Tyler's guard.

Danes shoots in and drives through. Tyler sprawls well.
Danes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Danes is trying to drag Tyler to the mat but Tyler just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Danes is working for takedown but Tyler is calmly controlling the position for now.

Tyler jumps guard but Danes stands there with Tyler around his waist. Tyler gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Tyler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice takedown defense from Tyler. No joy for Danes on that attempt.
Tyler decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tyler not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Tyler tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Danes.

Danes blocking the ground and pound attempt from Tyler.
Tyler has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Danes works to full guard.
Tyler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Danes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Danes pulls Tyler in close to prevent any damage.
Tyler trying to control the position from guard on top but Danes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Danes is controlling Tyler's posture.
Danes manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Danes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Tyler is working to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Danes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Let's hope that Danes has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jake Tyler.
I think Tyler has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
