Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Riddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa comes to the cage accompanied by Punch Drunk. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Riddle!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddle scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Balboa throws a jab when Riddle was well out of range.
Balboa throws a shot from downtown. Riddle moves away and avoids it.
Riddle with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Riddle smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Michael Balboa has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Balboa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Balboa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Michael Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Balboa is breathing heavily.
Riddle looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Riddle scores with a jab to the body.
Riddle throws a series of punches but Balboa moves out of range.
Riddle lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Balboa walks straight into a right hand from Riddle - that's dropped him! Riddle jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Balboa from any more punishment! Balboa complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
