Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Manson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manson misses with an uppercut. Daniels saw that one coming. Manson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Daniels checks a leg kick. Daniels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Daniels gets the takedown into side control. Manson defending against the ground and pound. Daniels throws a strike aimed at the side of Manson's head but Manson avoids it well. Daniels landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Daniels misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's one minute gone in the round. Manson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Manson is looking to get back to his feet here but Daniels is keeping cool and he's managed to take Manson's back. Daniels throwing wild punches that miss their target. Manson is trying to get back to his feet but Daniels has full control of the position and if anything, Manson has just worked his way into a worse spot. Daniels lands punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels misses with a punch to the head. Manson has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Daniels. A bit of a pause in the action here. Daniels controlling the positon. Daniels missing with strikes. Daniels missing with punches from the back. Manson is trying to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Daniels slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Daniels is working the ground and pound. Can Manson escape? Daniels struggling to land strikes to the head as Manson covers up. Even with his hooks in, Daniels manages to miss with strikes from the back. Manson looking very determined here, making life difficult for Daniels.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Daniels is working the ground and pound. Can Manson escape? Daniels trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Manson doesn't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daniels wants to control but Manson manages to buck him off and is now in Daniels's guard! Nice work there by Manson! Daniels is trying to hold Manson in close to prevent damage but Manson has managed to pass into half guard.

Manson throws a leg kick that misses. Manson throws a head kick that misses and Daniels counters with a one-two to the body. Daniels thuds his right hand into Manson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Daniels lands a jab. Charles Manson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A decent looking body kick lands there for Daniels. Manson throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels checks a leg kick. Daniels circles away from the clinch attempt and Daniels cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Manson fails to land with a series of punches.
Manson misses the jab. Manson loads up on a big right hand but Daniels slips the punch. Manson misses the shot to the body. Daniels lands with a slapping head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Manson. Daniels misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Daniels feints and as Manson raises his hands in defense, Daniels changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Daniels throwing strikes from guard but Manson blocks nicely. Daniels passes easily into side control. Nice work. Daniels staying calm. Check out the look on Daniels's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The strikes coming from Daniels are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Daniels wants to control but Manson is keeping him busy. Daniels taking a breather here. Let's hope that Daniels has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Daniels tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The ground and pound from Daniels seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Manson is letting Daniels control him for a moment. Jim Daniels showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Manson forces Daniels back against the cage and clinches. Daniels managing to block the knees to the body from Manson.
Manson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Daniels throws a combination that misses and Manson counters with a nice leg kick. Daniels closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Manson wants to break the clinch but can't.

A nice inside leg kick there by Daniels. That's going to slow Manson down. Daniels uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Manson. Manson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Daniels. Daniels circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Manson swivels and escapes. Daniels moves out of range of the strikes. Daniels misses with a double jab.
Daniels looks for the body kick but Manson saw that one coming. Manson stuffs the takedown attempt from Daniels. Daniels gets slowly back to his feet. Daniels tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Daniels throws a right and a left that Manson avoids nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Daniels scores with a jab to the body. Manson tries to clinch up and Daniels counters with a shoot takedown. Manson fights it but they end up in guard. Daniels trying to control the position from guard on top but Manson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Daniels passes into half guard. Daniels thows a huge punch but Manson dodges it nicely.
Charles Manson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Daniels in particular looking to stall. Daniels is trying to control. Manson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Manson wants to stand back up but Daniels manages to pass into side control.
Daniels looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Daniels grinds an elbow into Manson's temple. Daniels slows the pace down. Daniels's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Manson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
And that's the end of the fight! Jim Daniels comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Daniels has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
