Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sue Carter!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage throws a jab but it's blocked by Carter.
Carter misses with a hook. Cage ducked under it nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Carter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cage misses with an uppercut. Carter saw that one coming.
Good leg kick by Carter there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cage throws an overhand right that lands on Carter's shoulder, as Carter tries to avoid the shot.
Carter throws a lazy right hand but Cage sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Carter throws a wild body kick that Cage sees coming a mile off.
Cage throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carter tries to clinch up but Cage circles away and keeps his distance.
Carter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cage swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Carter.
Carter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cage sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cage dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Carter misses the body punch
and Cage connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cage throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cage wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Carter looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cage looks to score with a jab to the body but Carter is just out of range.
Cage fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Cage cracks Carter with an open hand slap.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cage lands with an overhand left.
Cage moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Carter with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cage to score with a decent uppercut.
Carter is rocked!
Cage closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Carter out cold! Carter corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Luke Cage!
