A looping hook to the body misses from Rekdal. Alves does a little dance to reset his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rekdal bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Alves ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rekdal thuds a left hand into Alves's body.

Alves with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rekdal to score with a decent uppercut.
Alves tries to score with a low kick but Rekdal moves his leg out of the way.

Alves ducks right into an uppercut from Rekdal.
Alves turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rekdal is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
