Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Riggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Tamlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tim Riggins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brick Tamlin! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tamlin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Riggins shoots for a takedown but Tamlin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tamlin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Tamlin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Riggins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tamlin swivels and escapes. Tamlin fails with the takedown and Riggins decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tamlin's guard. Tamlin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tamlin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Riggins throwing strikes but missing. Riggins throwing strikes from guard but Tamlin blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tamlin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Tamlin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Tamlin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tamlin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Riggins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Riggins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tamlin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Riggins misses with a takedown and Tamlin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Riggins! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Riggins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tamlin controlling the position easily from mount.

Tamlin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Tamlin prevents Riggins from getting the reversal. Tamlin controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tamlin lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Brick Tamlin just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tamlin fails with the takedown and Riggins counters with a shoot takedown. Tamlin fights it but they end up in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Riggins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tamlin.

Tamlin doesn't succeed with the takedown and Riggins decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tamlin's guard. Riggins misses with a takedown attempt and Tamlin counters with a takedown into side control. Riggins tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tamlin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Riggins manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Tamlin has his hands clasped together around Riggins's back. He's all about the action. Tamlin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Riggins. Tamlin taking some punishment here, with Riggins in his half guard. Riggins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tamlin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Riggins decides to return to a standing position. Brick Tamlin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riggins keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riggins shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tamlin moves into the clinch. Tamlin stops a takedown attempt from Riggins.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Riggins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tamlin lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Riggins looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Well, if Tamlin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Tamlin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Riggins swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tamlin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Tamlin's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Riggins keeping full guard, as Tamlin tries to pass. Tamlin trying to control but Riggins is working from the bottom. Riggins can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tamlin controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tamlin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Riggins is keeping the position for now. Riggins working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tamlin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tamlin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tamlin connects with a couple of short punches. Tamlin controls from within his opponent's guard. Riggins is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that's the end of the fight! Brick Tamlin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Tamlin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
