The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myllykoski takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kirshaw scores with a three punch combo!
Kirshaw steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Myllykoski.
Myllykoski looks to land a right hand but Kirshaw moved out of range.
Kirshaw throws a right hand that Myllykoski ducks under and follows up with a left that Myllykoski also avoids with ease.
Myllykoski lands a jab to the nose.
Kirshaw comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kirshaw lands a jab to Myllykoski's midsection.
Kirshaw thows a body kick. Myllykoski tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Reko Myllykoski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kirshaw gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Myllykoski to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Myllykoski wants to pass the guard but Kirshaw is keeping the position.
Kirshaw is pulling down on Myllykoski's head. It's preventing any offense from Myllykoski, at least for the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kirshaw is on top in guard.

Myllykoski has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Kirshaw has passed into side control.
Myllykoski is trying to get back to half guard.

Kirshaw stands up and beckons Myllykoski to his feet.
Myllykoski misses the body punch
and Kirshaw cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A looping hook to the body misses from Myllykoski. Kirshaw does a little dance to reset his feet.

Myllykoski throws a left and a right that both miss
and Kirshaw counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kirshaw scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Kirshaw scores with a jab. Myllykoski acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Myllykoski misses with an uppercut.
Myllykoski swings away with a body shot that misses
and Myllykoski takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kirshaw connects with a solid leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Kirshaw. No joy for Myllykoski on that attempt.
Myllykoski looks gassed!
Kirshaw scores with a sloppy right hand. Myllykoski should have avoided that one.
Kirshaw ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kirshaw slips a straight right by Myllykoski.
Myllykoski slips a jab and a cross from Kirshaw.
Myllykoski misses with an uppercut.

Myllykoski misses with a double jab
and Kirshaw counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Myllykoski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kirshaw manages to avoid it.
Myllykoski misses with a straight right.
Myllykoski throws the left hand but Kirshaw avoids the punch easily.
Kirshaw ducks under a wild hook from Myllykoski.
No luck for Myllykoski with that takedown attempt.
A jab lands there for Kirshaw.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kirshaw darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Myllykoski works the jab nicely.
Kirshaw takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kirshaw thows a body shot but no joy.
Thomas Kirshaw is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Myllykoski closes the distance and clinches up with Kirshaw, looking for a takedown. Myllykoski pushes Kirshaw against the cage but Kirshaw circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Thomas Kirshaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reko Myllykoski.
A shot to de liver by Kirshaw. Beautiful body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Kirshaw displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Myllykoski throws out the jab.
Myllykoski throws an overhand right that lands on Kirshaw's shoulder, as Kirshaw tries to avoid the shot.
Kirshaw lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Myllykoski steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kirshaw. That one must have hurt.
Myllykoski takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Myllykoski throws a jab but it's blocked by Kirshaw.
Myllykoski swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Kirshaw to counter with a crisp jab.
Kirshaw throws a good cross that connects.
Kirshaw wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kirshaw scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


Myllykoski is rocked!
Kirshaw is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Kirshaw scores with a push kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kirshaw throws a right and a left that Myllykoski avoids nicely.
Kirshaw lands a nice looking body shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Myllykoski crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kirshaw - the referee stops the clock and Myllykoski gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kirshaw. Myllykoski manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Thomas Kirshaw dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Myllykoski is still on wobbly legs! Can Kirshaw finish him?
Kirshaw connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Myllykoski seems to have recovered his senses.
Whack! Kirshaw lands a heavy head kick that drops Myllykoski. The ref tackles Kirshaw to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Myllykoski was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Thomas Kirshaw!
