Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Suzuki Pv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nemean Athos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pv comes to the ring accompanied by Got to have faith. Athos has chosen Thundercats as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nemean Athos!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Athos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pv.

Pv lands with a shot to the body.
Athos moves away from the strike by Pv.
Pv tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Athos paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Athos looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Pv shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Athos is trying to defend but Pv finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Pv is keen to just control but Athos is a slippery customer.

Pv is pushing down on Athos's leg trying to pass to half guard. Athos is fighting to maintain full guard but Pv has managed to sneak the leg through.
Pv is pressing down on Athos's thigh, looking to free his foot. Athos is holding on for now.
The fighters are battling for position here. Athos manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Pv wants to pass the guard but Athos is keeping the position.

Athos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pv's guard.

Pv is trying to control Athos's posture but Athos avoids it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Athos stands up.
Pv swings for the body but Athos moves out of range.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Athos misses with a looping right.
Pv pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Athos scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Pv waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Athos.
Pv tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Suzuki Pv seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Athos feints and then cracks Pv's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pv down.
Athos throws a nice inside leg kick.
Athos throws a looping overhand right but Pv ducks down to avoid it.
Pv lands a jab to the head.
Pv stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Athos.
Some wild striking there from Athos.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pv shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Athos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Athos not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pv looking to pass the guard.
Athos controls Pv momentarily but Pv frees himself.
Pv not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Athos keeping full guard, as Pv tries to pass.
Pv is working hard here to advance position.
Pv forces his way into half guard.
Athos is trying to stand.

Pv tries to pass the half guard into mount. Athos knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Athos is trying to control but Pv passes into side control!
You can see the frustration on Athos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Pv goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Athos rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Pv's guard! Nice work there by Athos!
Athos slips nicely into half guard.
Athos tries to stand but can't do so whilst Pv controls his leg.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Pv is trying to control but Athos manages to pass to mount!
Athos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nemean Athos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Athos tries to clinch but Pv moves out of range.
Pv scores with a nice right hand.
Athos looks to land a right hand but Pv moved out of range.
Pv takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nemean Athos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Athos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Athos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pv takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Pv tries to close the distance and clinch up but Athos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pv ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Athos moves away.

Athos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Athos scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Athos counters with a big head kick but Pv shrugs it off.
Suzuki Pv has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

and Athos counters with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Athos throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Athos slips under a jab.
Nemean Athos seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Athos scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pv misses with a hook. Athos ducked under it nicely.
Athos throws a chopping leg kick but Pv manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Athos fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Pv is out of range.
Athos uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pv.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pv. Athos does a little dance to reset his feet.
Athos lands with a right that hurts Pv. Pv looks to clinch but Athos throws a short knee that drops Pv. This one is all over!
