Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Ipkiss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanley Ipkiss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dexter Morgan! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ipkiss defends it nicely. Morgan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ipkiss sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Morgan somewhat. Ipkiss throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Morgan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ipkiss sprawls well. Ipkiss wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet. Stanley Ipkiss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dexter Morgan. Morgan clinches up against the cage. Morgan missing with knees to the body.

Morgan stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Ipkiss's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Morgan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ipkiss but Ipkiss pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ipkiss will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ipkiss throws a series of punches but Morgan avoids them all with ease. Ipkiss scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Ipkiss misses with a takedown attempt - Morgan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ipkiss fails with a takedown attempt. Morgan gets in close and instigates a clinch. Morgan landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

A short left from Morgan. Morgan unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ipkiss lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Ipkiss is trying to break the clinch but Morgan is controlling him. Morgan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ipkiss is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Morgan tries for a takedown but Ipkiss manages to get underhooks.
Morgan is trying to drag Ipkiss to the mat but Ipkiss just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ipkiss prevents the takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Morgan looks gassed! Morgan lands a hook that snaps the head of Ipkiss backwards. Ipkiss is looking to break free of the clinch but Morgan has double underhooks. Morgan holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Morgan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ipkiss smiles and moves away.
Morgan misses with a takedown and Ipkiss counters with a single leg into guard. Morgan didn't expect that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ipkiss has gone for a leg lock! Morgan slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ipkiss's guard. Ipkiss bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Morgan's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ipkiss wants to pass the guard but Morgan is keeping the position. Ipkiss drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ipkiss jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Morgan is trying to control the position but Ipkiss postures up. Ipkiss will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ipkiss slips nicely into half guard. Morgan moves into full guard.
Ipkiss trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ipkiss slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Ipkiss wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Morgan, who protects the arm well. Ipkiss working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ipkiss is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Morgan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Morgan struggling a bit here. Ipkiss tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ipkiss is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Morgan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stanley Ipkiss dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Morgan closes the distance and clinches. Morgan presses Ipkiss against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Morgan is trying to drag Ipkiss to the mat but Ipkiss just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Morgan taking a breather. Ipkiss gets underhooks to prevent Morgan's takedown attempt.

Stanley Ipkiss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dexter Morgan. Ipkiss is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Morgan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ipkiss.

Morgan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ipkiss postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Morgan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ipkiss, into his guard. Morgan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ipkiss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan trying to control the position from guard on top but Ipkiss is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ipkiss is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ipkiss is working for a submission of some sort.
Ipkiss is thwarting Morgan's attempts to control the position. Morgan tries to get to full guard but Ipkiss has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ipkiss is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Morgan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ipkiss. Ipkiss works his foot free and advances to mount. Ipkiss is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Morgan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Morgan shrugs it off. Ipkiss looking to secure an arm triangle but Morgan defends it well. Morgan tries to hold on but Ipkiss postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ipkiss is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Morgan has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Morgan tries to hold on but Ipkiss postures up. Morgan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Morgan throws a sloppy strike and Ipkiss has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Morgan is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Ipkiss!
