Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juanito Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Joad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juanito Sandoval!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Joad!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Joad!

It looks like Juanito Sandoval has been cut.
Sandoval swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Joad.
A looping hook to the body misses from Joad. Sandoval does a little dance to reset his feet.

Joad closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sandoval did well to prevent Joad getting side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Joad is trying to control the action in half guard but Sandoval is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Joad frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Joad has control of Sandoval's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sandoval regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Joad cracks Sandoval with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Joad is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sandoval can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Joad has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sandoval's face.

Joad wants to finish this one by submission but Sandoval is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Joad.

Joad moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Sandoval has worked his arm free - good work by Sandoval!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Sandoval misses with a straight right.
Sandoval wants to land a leg kick but Joad is out of range.
Joad throws a chopping leg kick but Sandoval manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Joad swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sandoval takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Juanito Sandoval is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Joad connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Sandoval finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Joad scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Sandoval takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Joad tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sandoval paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Joad dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sandoval throws a nice outside leg kick.
Joad misses the shot to the body.
Joad will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

No joy there for Joad, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Sandoval dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Joad. That did some damage!

Sandoval uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
