Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kin Ring Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kin Ring Sackett! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tito Ortizz! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortizz shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sackett napping and manages to drive through into side control! Sackett managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ortizz.
Ortizz works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Ortizz sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Sackett is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Sackett defending against the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sackett is looking for a sweep. Ortizz in side control, throwing shots but Sackett defends. Ortizz throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Ortizz is trying to ground and pound but Sackett uses the momentary lack of control by Ortizz to regain half guard. Sackett blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ortizz. Sackett manages to get to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ortizz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ortizz throws a strike but Sackett rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Ortizz trying to control the position.
Sackett wants to pass the guard but Ortizz is keeping the position. Sackett has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ortizz is proving hard to escape from. Sackett decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ortizz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sackett is fending him off so far but Ortizz persists. Nope, Sackett circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sackett slaps away a takedown attempt from Ortizz, before circling back to the center of the mat. Good shot there by Sackett. Ortizz fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kin Ring Sackett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Ortizz. Ortizz moves out of range as Sackett strikes. Sackett throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Sackett wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Ortizz looks gassed! Sackett misses with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sackett throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sackett. Ortizz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sackett. Sackett drops Ortizz with a nice combination! Sackett dives into Ortizz's guard, looking to finish!
Ortizz is rocked!
It looks like Tito Ortizz has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sackett trying to control the position from guard on top but Ortizz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ortizz is still in real trouble! Can Sackett finish him? We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ortizz can do anything to dispel that myth. Sackett has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ortizz is proving hard to escape from. Ortizz seems to have recovered his senses. Sackett gets to his feet. Ortizz looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Sackett misses with a wild body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sackett throws a hook but Ortizz avoids it easily. Sackett lands a front kick. Ortizz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sackett throws out the jab. Sackett lands with a shot to the body. Sackett misses with a wild body shot. Kin Ring Sackett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ortizz checks a leg kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sackett loads up on a big right hand but Ortizz slips the punch. Sackett throws a left that rocks Ortizz and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sackett dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Ortizz regain composure!
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Kin Ring Sackett dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tito Ortizz's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ortizz takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ortizz ducks under a wild hook from Sackett. The fighters circling - Sackett throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sackett throws a nice looking combination but Ortizz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Sackett! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kin Ring Sackett! Kin Ring Sackett is the new light heavyweight champion!
