Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doc Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lunatic Fringe by Red Ryder. Carter is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 99 Problems Remix. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Carter throws a jab but it's blocked by Thomas.
A big right from Thomas misses.
Carter just misses with a punch to the body.
Thomas lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Shawn Carter has been cut.
Thomas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Carter sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Thomas misses with a hook.
Carter moves out of range of the strikes.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Carter napping and manages to drive through into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Carter looks to move to half guard but instead Thomas has passed into mount! Damn!
Carter tries to improve his position but Thomas has taken his back! Thomas has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Carter tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Thomas pushes Carter away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
