Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tor Nansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shin Nara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nansen comes to the cage accompanied by The Prodigy - Thunder. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tor Nansen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shin Nara! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nansen misses with a kick to the body.
Nansen cracks Nara with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Nara misses the shot to the body. Nansen misses with a straight left. Nansen shoots in looking for a takedown but Nara manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nansen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Nara lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nansen circles away quickly and effectively. Nara throws a looping overhand right but Nansen ducks down to avoid it. Nansen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nansen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nansen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nara moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nara misses with a few strikes there.
Nara defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nansen. Nara tries to bum rush Nansen with a series of wild strikes but Nansen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nansen throws a leg kick but Nara sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nansen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nara misses with a body shot
and Nansen counters with a solid body kick. Nansen lands with a slapping head kick. Nansen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Nara is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Nansen has just dragged him back down to the mat. Nara is not content to let Nansen control the position. Nansen takes a little break here. Nara wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nara is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Nansen is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nara avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Nansen. Nansen working the ground and pound but Nara is defending the strikes. The strikes coming from Nansen are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Nansen trying to control the position but Nara is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nara wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Nansen in side control, throwing shots but Nara defends. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nansen laying and praying for a moment but Nara takes advantage and regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nansen manages to avoid it. Nara thows a body shot but no joy. Nara misses with a combination
and Nansen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nara getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Nansen scores with a hook to the body. Nara takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Nansen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nansen throws an overhand right that lands on Nara's shoulder, as Nara tries to avoid the shot. Nansen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nara rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nansen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nansen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nara swivels and escapes. Nansen throws a predictable looking body shot
and Nara counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nara misses the body punch and Nansen counters with a slapping leg kick. Nara misses with a combination
and Nansen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Nansen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nara is keeping the position for now. Nansen wants to control from the top but Nara keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nansen prevents Nara from getting back to his feet. Nansen trying to control the position from guard on top but Nara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nara wants to get back to his feet but Nansen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Tor Nansen has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Nansen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Nara connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Nansen throws a leg kick but Nara sees it coming and moves out of range. Nansen slips a jab from Nara.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nara throws a sloppy body shot
and Nansen counters with a nice leg kick. Tor Nansen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nara throws a series of punches but Nansen moves out of range. Nara tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nansen was well out of range. Poor timing from Nara. Nara chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nansen can pounce on him.
Nara lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Nara misses the body punch and Nansen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nara won't be happy with that. Nara pushes Nansen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nansen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Nara taking a bit of punishment here - Nansen scoring with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tor Nansen dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Nansen with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nara avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Nara lands a body shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The crowd cheers as Nara lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nansen doesn't seem phased though. That's one minute gone in the round. Nara misses the body punch so Nansen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Nara is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Nansen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nansen controls from within his opponent's guard. Nansen trying to control but Nara is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nansen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Nara is looking to get back to his feet here but Nansen is keeping cool and he's managed to take Nara's back. Shin Nara has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nara covering up well and avoiding damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nansen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
And that's the end of the fight! Tor Nansen showed his dominance in that final round. Well Nansen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
